Real Capital Partners Taps Nashtatik as CAO

Winter Garden, FL | July 17, 2024 | Real Capital Partners announced Irina Nashtatik, CTP, CPA, has been appointed Chief Accounting Officer effective July 8. Nashtatik will oversee accounting and auditing, financial planning and analysis, tax and business reporting across the Real Capital family of companies, which includes Store Space Self Storage and Sud Stop Car Wash.

Prior to joining Real Capital, Nashtatik was Chief Financial Officer at Nicholas Financial Inc. (NASDAQ: NICK), where she was selected as the 2021 CFO of the Year Honoree by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.  She also served as Vice President of Finance at Bankers Financial Corp in St. Petersburg, FL.

Her short-term goal is to refine the processes currently in place, while making the accounting department cohesive and dynamic across all branches of the organization.

“The long-term goal is to create a well-oiled machine to get through the day-to-day more easily to get to the ‘fun stuff,’ which is to become a strategic partner with the CEOs,” Nashtatik said. “My life revolves around the restructuring process and model forecasting to be able to advise the CEOs how to move forward effectively, whether it’s through recapitalization or acquisition or restructuring, or other cost savings.”

Ms. Nashtatik earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Higher School of Economics. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Treasury Professional and a member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of Financial Executives International.
